After New Year’s Eve, January’s coldness almost stalled the activities of our association, but not quite. In fact, we were calculating the balances of activities in the past year and challenges that await in the new year. In mid-January, we held a meeting in Skopje with the project manager of the Center for Development and Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Amir Goichman and "Mobility Macedonia", and at the beginning of February we received the application for collaboration, which will be discussed by the Board and Assembly.
These days, we applied for a grant from the European Union through the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, which was approved. It is a project for personal assistance for people with physical disabilities, and the signing is expected to be in March. All summaries of the results of last year are made to the Board, which approved and passed it to the Assembly.
After appropriate preparation, the Annual Assembly of "Mobility Bitola" for the past 2016 was held on February 19th at the restaurant "Corso" in Bitola, where we summarized the 44 events including several workshops, conferences, TV presentations, performances, trips seminars and organizing various other activities.
This was the verification of a successful trend of positive activities which "Mobility Bitola" has established itself as one of the most active and most successful organizations. The continuation and strengthening of the capacities of the membership is imperative to achieving success in the plans in the program and strategic directions of action. We continue further.
